Abstract

ÀÌ ¿¬±¸ÀÇ ¸ñÀûÀº Indocyanine Green(ICG)°ú ±ÙÀû¿Ü¼±(Near Infrared, NIR) ´ÙÀÌ¿Àµå ·¹ÀÌÀú°¡ Streptococcus mutans ¼¼±Õ¸·¿¡ ¹ÌÄ¡´Â È¿°ú¸¦ ICG ¿ë¾×ÀÇ ³óµµ¿¡ µû¶ó Æò°¡ÇÏ´Â °ÍÀ̾ú´Ù. Hydroxyapatite disk¿¡ S. mutans ¼¼±Õ¸·À» Çü¼ºÇÏ¿© ¸ê±Õ Áõ·ù¼ö¿¡ ¿ëÇؽÃŲ 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0 mg/mLÀÇ ICG ¿ë¾×°ú 300 mWÀÇ Ãâ·Â, 808 nmÀÇ ÆÄÀåÀ» °¡Áö´Â NIR ´ÙÀÌ¿Àµå ·¹ÀÌÀú¸¦ Àû¿ëÇÏ¿´´Ù. ¸ðµç Ç¥º»Àº °øÃÊÁ¡ ·¹ÀÌÀú ÁÖ»ç Çö¹Ì°æ(Confocal Laser Scanning Microscopy, CLSM)À» ÀÌ¿ëÇÏ¿© °üÂûÇÏ¿´´Ù. ¶ÇÇÑ 1ä³Î ¿­Àü´ë ¿Âµµ°è¿Í ThermocoupleÀ» ÀÌ¿ëÇÏ¿© ±¤Á¶»ç ½Ã¿¡ ICG ¿ë¾×ÀÇ ³óµµ¿¡ µû¸¥ ¼¼±Õ¸· Ç¥¸éÀÇ ¿Âµµ º¯È­¸¦ ÇÔ²² ÃøÁ¤ÇÏ¿´´Ù. ´ëÁ¶±º°ú ºñ±³ ½Ã¿¡ ICG ¿ë¾× ¸¸À» µµÆ÷ÇÑ ±º¿¡¼­´Â 3.0, 4.0, 5.0 mg/mLÀÇ ³óµµ¿¡¼­, ±×¸®°í ICG ¿ë¾×ÀÇ µµÆ÷¿Í ±¤Á¶»ç¸¦ ÇÔ²² ½ÃÇàÇÑ ±º¿¡¼­´Â 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0 mg/mLÀÇ ³óµµ¿¡¼­ Åë°èÀûÀ¸·Î À¯ÀÇÇÑ ¼¼±Õ ¼öÀÇ °¨¼Ò°¡ °üÂûµÇ¾ú´Ù. ¿ë¾×ÀÇ ³óµµ¿¡ µû¸¥ ¿Âµµ Áõ°¡·®Àº 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0 mg/mLÀÇ ICG ¿ë¾×¿¡¼­ °¢°¢ 9.53¡É, 10.43¡É, 11.4¡É, 12.1¡É, 12.67¡É, 13.63¡É À̾ú´Ù. Áï, ICG ¿ë¾×ÀÇ ³óµµ°¡ 3.0 mg/mLÀÌ¸é ±× ÀÚü·Îµµ S. mutans ¼¼±Õ¸·À» ¾ïÁ¦ÇÒ ¼ö´Â ÀÖÀ¸³ª, NIR ´ÙÀÌ¿Àµå ·¹ÀÌÀú¸¦ ÇÔ²² »ç¿ëÇϸé ÁÖº¯ Á¶Á÷ ¼Õ»óÀÇ ¿ì·Á ¾øÀÌ ´õ È¿À²ÀûÀÎ Ç×±Õ ÀÛ¿ëÀ» ³ªÅ¸³¾ ¼ö ÀÖ´Ù. µû¶ó¼­, À̹ø ¿¬±¸´Â »õ·Î¿î Ä¡¾Æ ¿ì½ÄÁõ ¿¹¹æ¹ýÀ¸·Î ICG¿Í NIR ´ÙÀÌ¿Àµå ·¹ÀÌÀúÀÇ ÀÓ»óÀû Àû¿ëÀÇ °¡´É¼ºÀ» Á¦½ÃÇÑ´Ù.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of Indocyanine Green (ICG) and near-infrared (NIR) diode laser on Streptococcus mutans biofilms depending on ICG concentrations. S. mutans biofilms were formed on a Hydroxyapatite disk, and 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0 mg/mL ICG solutions dissolved in sterile distilled water and a NIR diode laser having a power of 300 mW and a wavelength of 808 nm were applied to the biofilms. The temperature changes of the biofilm surface according to the concentrations of the ICG solution were measured using a 1-channel thermocouple thermometer. Compared to the control group, in the groups with only the 3.0, 4.0, 5.0 mg/mL ICG solution application, and in the groups with the 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0 mg/mL ICG solution application and light irradiation, a statistically significant decrease in the bacterial counts were observed. The temperature increase according to the concentration of the ICG solutions was 9.53¡É, 10.43¡É, 11.40¡É, 12.10¡É, 12.67¡É, and 13.63¡É in ICG solutions of 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, and 5.0 mg/mL respectively. This study presents the potential for clinical application of ICG and NIR diode lasers as a new method for preventing dental caries.
